    Macbook air battery behavior

    Hello everyone,
I test my new MBA for a week and the battery shows a very strange behavior: 2:20 to discharge at 90% with an office use (excel firefox + thunderbird +) and 4 hours for a full recharge.
It is not light? On the other hand, the trigger quickly what can be the explanation.

I do not know what to do, I still have 1 week to return to the fnac ... what do you think?

I have the first model, but the processor is also in the 45 ° C in normal use. At 70 ° C, there is a loop process that is sure to 90%.

I had the same problem with receiving my MBA, I had a self-2h30 max.
I called the service responded to me that for them the autonomy was correct .
Then I tried resetting the PRAM followed by a calibration of the battery. Then I tried resetting the SMC + calibration of the battery and I am a self between 3:30 and 4h00. But I counsel would not calibrate the battery too often, once a month is enough

My problem solved, I had a software update which apparently started automatically at startup and taking 90% CPU.
View that it is a software update and that had the same problem at the same time, it is not impossible that a program has in common.
Close all your applications, go to spotlight, between "Activity" in processor (bottom) looks% user, if you are over 30% is that you have a problem. Look through the list above column% proc (4th from left), identifies the process that has the highest%, click on, and red button at the top left Exit the transaction.

For resetting the PRAM is here. To reset the SMC here. To calibrate your battery you have to load and then unload it off completely until you can recharge up to me after I leave the power supply plug during 2h. The only hitch is that it is not immediately visible is responsible for following my case autonomy was really poor.
