Cell phones manufacturers are completely aware of the fact that kids are a very important segment of their public, whether they like or not. This is why they should always be careful when it comes to taking care of their interests, because, if you have kids, then you probably know very well how pretentious they are.
The phone was launched by Bouygues Télécom, a France-based company, being part of a limited edition of entry-level handsets. The slider phone is obviously imprinted with the Betty Boop brand, if I may say so, and with the silhouette of the animated character. In addition, the phone comes in package with all sorts of things that are related to Betty Boop, including a pouch.
As for the features, the Samsung phone is equipped with GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, a display with 65K colors, a VGA camera, MP3 player, FM radio and a microSD card support. The battery provides up to 3 hours of talk time and up 192 of stand-by time.
Now, the Samsung Betty Boop is available right now, if you’re interested in it, and you can buy from Bouygues Télécom, for a retail price of 129 Euros. However, if you’re willing to sign a 2 year contract agreement, the phone can be yours for 1 Euro
