hi,, I want to gift a mobile phone to one of my family member in next month. And i want to go with Samsung mobile. Can any of you help me out which one be better ? How about Samsung M3200 Beat s ?

Thats nice. If you are thinking for samsung and for samsung M3200 Beat s, then you have a right choice. Its a nice device with great sounds effects. After the introductions of Nokia’s XpressMusic and Sony Ericsson’s Walkman, Samsung finally decided to release a line of music-oriented phones. It is called BEAT Edition and the slider BEATs is one of its first two models. The phone is equipped with quite some extras in order to provide quality sound – support for Samsung’s DNSe DSP technology, ICEpower amplifier by Bang & Olufsen.Today Samsung unveils its whole Beat family of music-oriented devices.

Samsung M3200 Beat s may lack the Serenata sophistication or the feature set of i450 but it walks and talks music. And the dedicated music keys up front are just a bit of a taster. Inside the M3200 Beat s there's turn-to-mute, Samsung-style shake control and a full-blown music player. FM radio with RDS and audio recording, a brand new music recognition application and mood-based track sorting: Samsung just won't settle for less than the competition. The must-have 3.5 mm audio jack and a set of stereo speakers put the final touch, so it's music all the way or bust.

The Beat edition gives the Samsung portfolio some structure and puts a name to all those musicphone faces. There's quite a bunch of them going way back to the D810 and spanning over a load of F-line handsets. The most important thing the Beat brings to Samsung is a straight-talking music handset with classic design and competitive price. Samsung Serenata is nowhere near this description and neither is the Symbian-powered bulky dual-slide Samsung i450.

Thats a good looking stylish phone !!! I think i don't need to think or search anywhere anymore because to whom i wanted to gift is music addict as well. I think i suites perfect. Please let me know some more features of it.

Samsung M3200 measures 96.5 x 46.9 x 16.9 mm and weights 101 grams. The neat and simple slider casing is all straight lines and clean shapes. The perfect hand fit, dedicated music keys and user-friendly keypad provide for great phone handling. The handset is offered in two colors: Gray-on-Orange and Gray-on-Lilac.

Sliding the phone up reveals the main alphanumeric deck topped with the Call, End and Clear knobs. Each key is well defined, tactility is excellent and there is no reason to fear typos or frown at the neat and simple layout.A 2" display is definitely not the top choice in a slider. The form factor provides plenty of space and a 2.2" diagonal just couldn't have blown the budget out of proportion. The screen fares well enough both outside and indoors, though sunlight legibility still lags behind Nokia transflective displays.

The integrated music player supports MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+ and e-AAC+ audio plus various types of digital rights management (DRM). Audio playback is enhanced with the addition of a B&O ICEpower amplifier, Samsung's Digital Natural Sound engine (DNSe), Shazam's "Find Music" application and an automatic equaliser function. On top of this, the M3200 has an FM radio with RDS. In addition, the Samsung M3200 has a 3.5mm audio jack and dedicated media control keys.

The phone has a rather nice vision, mainly thanks to the colors and the metal front panel. Despite being somewhat thick, the device is not very heavy and the curvy shapes are easy to the touch.

The right side of the handset has the other loudspeaker grill symmetrically placed at the top, the universal port for charging, data and connecting the stereo headset. The camera key completes the list of controls.
