Unable to shutdown my laptop

Hello people,

I cannot turnoff my laptop using start button. It is working properly before shutting down. But when i click on turnoff, nothing happens. Can anyone have solution for this?

Such problem can occur, if you installed something on your laptop that is not supporting or compatible with your system. In that case, you can uninstall that software or program and try restarting laptop again.

It could be a BIOS / Power-off option issue. Try to shut it down by using Task Manager. Press Alt+Ctrl+Del, then click Shut Down on menu bar and click Turn Off.

I had the same problem with mine. Unplug it and take out the battery for five minutes. then put the battery back in and plug it in. Now start it and try to shut down. If it doesn't work, then try to contact manufacturer support.

Make sure your mobile softwares are not active like bluetooth or your Nokia PC suite. If some softwares or programs are running on system, then you are not able to turnoff your laptop.
