Canon 4600 printer problem ?

Small question, I just bought this printer CANON IP4600 and I have 2 problems with:

1 - There is a tape leaves the classical and photos to go in the bin behind, except for a printing (web page)
The printer uses a piece of classic, but with glossy black (the photo) Unable to tell him to print with the classic black, why? (the classic black cartridge always full and has the other)

2 - And the main concern if not I print my pages (with pictures) high quality, as I see bands of 1 cm over the entire image! (a bit as if the writing head was rubbed on paper)
Ex: If the image is seen as dark horizontal bands of black gloss spaced by 1 mm non-shiny black (as if it had bad harvest the pieces of the picture)

I wanted to know if anyone has this printer and has the same problem ? To know already if it's normal that it often uses this black for photo printing while no photo!
Normal ? - And if it would have a technical problem for traces it does in print mode Normal? (because high-quality black and compact no default on the image)

I do not want to share the printer if it has finally nothing. Seven windows I use but I doubt that it's a driver problem

Hi,
Is that you failed to configure, before printing, go to the printer properties and selected the correct paper tray. For your story to print quality, you need to make a cleaning nozzle, it is also in the printer settings before printing. Your printer is not broken, it just needs a little attention. I just print the same image (dark) with paper and other sheet-mode image. In Case 1, it takes a sheet tray (front) prints with a glossy black (normal mode c pas terrible high quality nickel)

In the 2nd case it takes the same page except that I met him at the top, the image with a black "by default without normal" (exactly what should be the "classic paper" and not .. photo mode)
(For that I'm wondering if my printer had no worries, I just have it so I do not know at all if all do it in 4600).

If it is new ... and after a cleaning nozzle that does not change then yes, do not hesitate to return. It is normal and quality mode it is more visible because there are more than passing print head. Same as in economic terms, the quality is too low to see if it's good or bad print.

As for the high quality mode, I confirm on a black and white image, it is still me but the bars are 2 times smaller than normal. but seems not like any of the black fashion classic paper having imperfections!

For when I use against the top (in photo) to print the same photo N & B on the same paper, rendering and superb black and just dark and not at all brilliant, but even in normal I see no defects. (as if the bright color was the problem )
I have not tested high quality image seen the results in normal.

If I ask this question on the glossy black is that with my old HP, it had 2 cartridge "a photo with a special black and 2 colors and a color with the 3 color classic"
