HP Pavilion dv5-1040eg and Windows XP drivers

    Hello,

I have been trying to install XP. Unfortunately, there is the HP website except the QuickLaunch drivers no other.

After hours of searching on the Internet, I am still faced with the problem that the following drivers are still missing:
    - Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus (probably sound card?)
    - Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus (presumably modem?)

It is still missing audio (IDT 92HD71B7)

    Drivers found the following:
    - Chipset
    - Graphics
    - Touchpad
    - Bluetooth
    - NIC
    - Card Reader
    - Webcam
    - WLAN

I hope you can help me !!

Audio Realtek chip will probably be ergo Realtek HD audio drivers take CardReader, webcam, etc. without help from HP difficult to obtain, except you find out from which manufacturer they are.

Alternatively, you can still update about MS try.

    About Windows Update no nothing.
Cam was the first installed by HP and therefore there are no drivers for XP, according to HP.
Card Reader, I do not know.

I know that my HDMI drivers from NVidia and I lack the audio driver for an IDT 92HD71B7. Any suggestions where to find?

    Warner,
Just wondering if you found out your issue or not. I know that I had an issue making my audio work as well. I know you can get the IDT auido Codec from HP, just download it from the Vista web page for support/downloads. But you need to install the drivers a certian order. First it should be the IDT then the Nvidia. This should work no problem. Also i have a blue-ray player, and i dont know if you do, but if so you need to change the way the player, I use PowerDvd 8 Ultra, looks for the audio, it defaults to the Nvidia driver, but you need to change that so it only uses the IDT. Then your HDMI output audio will work with a player. Hope this works. Good luck.

    Hey!
