The latest from the Western Digital front is that the company has launched two new external hard drives exclusively for Mac systems. Namely My Passport for Mac and the My Book Mac Edition.

My Passport for Mac ensures protection of a user’s critical data. In a sleek and trendy design, the drives are available in 320GB and 500GB storage capacities. The My Passport for Mac drives are additionally powered by a USB-bus which removes the need for an external power adapter.

As for the My Book Mac Edition eternal drives, they sport a slim and elegant matte-black finish and have been architectured with WD’s power saving technology called GreenPower. The drives bundle in 1TB storage capacities and have been engineered without fan offering noise-free operation. With a product packaging that is fully recyclable, the My Book Mac drives are simple to set up and are based on the plug-and-play installation system.
