    Card reader does not detect my SD card

    Hello everyone,I purchased an Acer Aspire 7730Z, he has a card reader (JMB 38x) and When I put my Micro SD card that is not detected when the driver of the reader in its present Device Manager ...

    My card is detected on my desktop pc

    It is a SDHC card ? What capacity ? It works with other cards?

    The SD format is limited to 2GB (and even 2GB cards are not recognized). therefore took a new version, 2.0 SD better known as SDHC that allows up to 32GB (for now) but it requires a card reader compatible and very recent. if your SD card is more than 2GB SDHC then it is and if your drive is not compatible then your problem is normal.
