Genius recently announced that it will bring two new products to add to its lineup of devices that includes speakers, headphones, digital photo frames and more. The first of the new products is a wireless stereo speaker system (actual product not pictured) that works on the 2.4GHz frequency to transmit signals from a satellite speaker that doubles as a receiver to its simpler twin and a subwoofer. Range is said to be 100 feet and while other information is not known, there is a 3.5mm audio jack that lets users connect the system to their personal multimedia players, PCs or any other source with the ubiquitous connector.
The second concept, the IP Cam 350TR, is a security camera with the ability to record images at night. Its light sensor turns on six infrared LEDs when light levels drop significantly, enabling it to see. The camera will also capture audio thanks to a built-in microphone and can be positioned in a variety of ways thanks to its 135-degree panning adjustment and 350-degree tilt ability. The Internet-connected camera also has a motion detection feature that will also send out e-mails. The images captured by the CMOS sensor and through the glass lens are then saved using a dual codec video stream in both Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 compression.
No detailed release or pricing information has been announced.
