    Virgin Vkewl handset problems

Hi friends i am using virgin Vkewl & i am facing two problems, first is PC software for the handset Vkewl & the other is registering an account on virgin mobile's website.

Whenever I connect my mobile to my laptop, it starts charging, but I am not able to open the driver software provided on the CD. My laptop does not detect it as a new device connected to the machine. I am unable to update the my phonebook , i cant transfer any files from my PC to phone.

other problem of not being able to register for My Account on Virgin Mobile's website, i talked with the customer care person & was told that the same is currently not functional & I will be informed as & when it is up & running.

Does anybody have a solution to the problem ?

Hello ,you have to put a memory card to transfer files. your VKewl will act like a memory card reader/writer. install the pc cd, after that go to network connections of computer and create new connection with ISP name as virgin and user name and password as internet. dial up number is #777. just do it and connect. it provides a better speed than other GPRS providers.
