XCM Hyper Gear case to Overclock your DS Lite

Overclocking your DS Lite, without having to open it up or use software? The new XCM Hyper Gear case for the DS Lite not only gives your handheld a new look, it also turbocharges your DS Lite games thanks to a switch on it’s bottom right corner. Just flip it, and your DS Lite will run at 140% or 170% of its normal speed.

Seems like it won’t kill your DS, but your battery will die pretty fast. It speeds up your game’s graphics and audio, making everything seem like your DS has a coke habit. XCM expects to release the Hyper Gear case within the next few weeks.

XCM expects to release the Hyper Gear case in the next few weeks, and you will be able to find it at online modding retailers including Extreme Mods and Total Console.

Re: XCM Hyper Gear case to Overclocking your DS Lite

Overclocking the Nintendo DS is hardly anything new, but the mod-happy folks at XCM look to be taking a decidedly different approach with their new Hyper Gear case which, as you can see above, is actually a full-on replacement case for the currently non-hyper DS Lite.
