Toshiba A605-P201 has lauch Ultraportable Laptop which Brings the R500’s Technology to Consumer Space.

Afte the Portege A600, Toshiba introduces in the US market the Portege A605 series laptop that is based on the Portege R500 series. Powered by Centrino 2 Duo processor technology, the 12-inch A605 features a sleek silver aluminum enclosure.
One of the models, the Portege A605-P201 is powered by a Core 2 Duo ULV SU9300 1.2GHz processor, 3GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive and integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD video chipset. It comes with a DVD SuperMulti DL burner with Labelflash, WiFi 802.11a/g/n, integrated webcam, and a eSATA/USB combo port.

Ultraportable laptops are usually designed with business buyers in mind—with features and prices to match. But Toshiba is bringing the form factor and technology from its groundbreaking Portege R500 to the consumer market with the Portege A605-P201.

This sleek ultraportable weighs just 3.3 pounds and measures 1.2 inches thick. Unlike other laptops this small, the Portege A605-P201 features a 12.1-inch screen and an on-board optical drive.

The eSATA/USB combo port offers Toshiba’s USB Sleep-and-Charge feature, which lets you charge attached devices (such as a phone or music player) even when the machine is off or in sleep mode. Toshiba claims the machine has a battery life of nearly 7 hours. The Portégé A605-P201 lists for $1,399.99.

Toshiba has lauch very good product with the great handling and sleek, good internal memory which in that segment any other Laptop dosen't have, also a good internal storage, and Wi-Fi facility.
Just great combination.
