LG KC780 slider mobile phone Will Have an 8 Megapixel Camera

LG KC780 is the next LG cameraphone that will have an 8 megapixel camera. While it's exciting to see yet another high-res cameraphone, it seems LG have not put a lot of effort in making its design stand out.

While the whole 8 megapixel camera is nothing short of exciting news, everything else about this phone doesn't seem to get people fired up that much. This happens mostly because LG didn't take much interest in its design, so much so that the new handset can’t really stand out from the crowd.

No release date or pricing have been made available so far.

The LG KC780 8 megapixel cameraphone is now officially confirmed, as we managed to snatch a press photo of the upcoming slider. We don't have the specs of the KC780, but we know that it's being touted by LG as the slimmest 8 megapixel phone to-date. That means it has to be slimmer than 13.8mm to qualify and beat the Samsung M8800 Pixon. There is no word on 3G support and about price. LG will be announcing a new slim full touch handset tomorrow that promises to break the barrier of affordability.

This will be the slimmest 8 megapixel camera phone to date, offering quad-band GSM support and limited touchscreen functionality. There's still no word on 3G support, no price and no date -- but you'll know more when we do.

LG Electronics announced today the launch of its LG-KC780, a slim 8 megapixel camera phone.

The LG-KC780 is a full featured handset and includes the latest in mobile phone technology, including Smart Bluetooth, which opens up a number of new options when the phone is connected to a personal computer such as sending and reading text messages, allowing them to be typed and viewed on the computer.

LG-KC780 will go on sale in November 2008, in Europe, later expanding to CIS and Asia, including India, Thailand, Hong Kong and China.
