PACKARD BELL STRIKES FAST AND HARD WITH NEW CITY-STYLE NOTEBOOK GAMING SYSTEM THE IPOWER GX

Packard Bell, one of the leading technology brands in Europe, today expanded its offering for the gaming segment with the introduction of iPower GX, a high-octane notebook gaming system that combines street art looks and pure power.

Packard Bell's iPower GX will, like any decent gaming notebook, feature a 1,920 x 1,200 display and aside from its street cred destroying urban stylings, it'll come packed with some pretty serious hardware. This will include an nVidia 9800M GTS with 1GB dedicated GDDR3 video memory, but more interestingly Intel's first Quad Core mobile processor, the Core 2 Quad Q9100.

This system, which in its highest spec can produce a 3DMark 06 score of 9,000 points, will also be available with an optional Blu-ray drive and feature Draft-N wireless. It'll be available in October with an estimated retail price of 1,499 Euros
