HP added new Compaq desktop computers its business line today with a new series called the Compaq dc7900. The systems are aimed at the small to medium size retail market and include the rp3000 point-of-sale solution geared towards enterprises.

The rp3000 use an Intel Atom processor and will retail for $699. The dc7900 business desktop is an ultra-slim desktop available in convert able mini tower models or small form factor versions. The systems are 87% power efficient and have the ENERGY STAR 4.0 and EPEAT Gold certifications. The systems start at $599.
