Blackberry Q10 Vs Blackberry Q5 Comparison

For those who dont know, Blackberry today launched Blackberry Q5. This is their 3rd device with the BB 10 operating system. The device is very similar to the earlier launched BB Q10 not only in terms of looks but also in the specifications such as 8 Megpaixel rear camera, 2MP front camera, 35-key physical keyboard and more. The only difference i found in this is that Q5 comes with 1.2GHz Dual Core processor. Thats it.

But the price difference in both device is almost of Rs. 20,000/-. Whereas BB Q10 costs you Rs. 44K, the new Q5 comes for only 25K. So according to you guys if i want to buy a BB phone with BB 10 OS, which one should i go for among these two devices? All suggestions appreciated.

According to their prices both the devices are very good at their places. I have a Q10 and really love it. Its super fast, offers smooth performance and multitasking. And the same i wish from Q5 as it has nearly the same configuration except the processor and rear camera but that doesn't matters a lot. The only thing that makes Q10 superior than Q5 is the integrated GPU which allows you to play HD games as well. However if we compare them with prices, GPU doesn't matters when the price difference is of almost 20 thousand rupees.

I have never thought for gaming on any Blackberry devices until the Z10 game. Hence comparing these devices on gaming basis is not good. And if we compare them on performance and the features, then both the devices are same. Also in terms of features Q5 stands together with Q10 as they both are running on Blackberry 10 OS.

So as per the price difference and the color choices available in Q5, I will vote for Q5.

So according to you guys if i want to buy a BB phone with BB 10 OS, which one should i go for among these two devices? All suggestions appreciated.

If you are looking for average uses like mailing, chatting, bit surfing, etc then better go with Q5. If you have high usage and want a complete official phone with better gaming and multimedia experience then buy Q10.

And in case you are thinking out of blackberry then better go with some Android phones such as Galaxy S3 or HTC One X. These devices costs the same price but are much powerful and productive then Blackberry Q5.
