    Handwriting recognition or On-screen keyboard

There usually two technologies which might be very common in the coming future. Today we are very stick to the keyboards typing and work on the same. That does not put strain on us but a bit time consuming and addition of extra hardware. Two technologies Handwriting recognition & On-screen keyboard might one day provide a better solution. What you recommend from this. My choice goes for Handwriting recognition as here you just need a pen and after calibrating the same with your computer you are writing on a digital screen. This might reduce errors also. While virtual keyboard increases the chances of errors and slow down the work also. I had posted some highlight on both.

    Handwriting recognition

Handwriting is an important mode of communication in humans. It is at once universal but also very personal. Everyone develops their own style of writing that will continually evolve throughout his life. Studies in graphotherapy showed the central role that could play the handwriting in the development of a person. Computerization has been far more likely to diminish the role that the handwriting was in the communication device keyboard / mouse is gradually replacing the pen to the detriment of handwriting. More recently, the widespread use of electronic mail and SMS has only amplified this phenomenon by systematizing the increasingly earlier in life.

Recently, new technology oriented pen mature: next generation mobile phone (smartphone), tablet PC (Tablet PC or UMPC), or interactive whiteboard (TBI). The trend then bends gradually repositioning the handwriting in the center of the human-machine communication. The coupling of the written modality and gesture with these new technologies seeking to make their operations more user-friendly by introducing new practices that will facilitate access to the largest number. Research on automatic recognition of handwriting made considerable progress in the last ten years. Although not all problems are not solved, the handwriting recognition engines online are progressing and today enjoy more computing power and are now powerful enough to consider direct interaction with the machine through handwriting.

Of course, this does not remove the traditional peripheral (keyboard / mouse) that are very effective in many contexts of use. The idea is rather to put the user at the center of interaction with the machine, so it once again becomes the main actor. In some contexts of mobility and in many cases of document composition, writing and drawing freehand entry procedures are the most natural and most effective. For example, the user will be able to write his "SMS" directly on the screen of his mobile phone (smartphone). It can also draw his sketches, the charts, mathematical formulas, etc. hand on the touch screen of a Tablet PC or a BIT.

You can use the Mouse Mouse Emulator is a small program of only 10Kb that lets you control your mouse using only the keyboard, get it here . Once initiated Mouse Emulator , as you can see in the image above, change the function of some few numeric keys, pressing them move the mouse cursor in any direction, such as 8-up, 4-left, 6-right, etc. While the Virtual Keyboard it is even easier, just click on Start -> Run and type OSK + confirm with OK, you'll see on screen "keyboard on screen" you see in the above, a ' Windows utility that displays a virtual keyboard on the screen, and you can easily enter data using a pointing device or joystick.

Both are very quiet common on phones and tablet pc. Like iPhone. This one is next to a handsome and easy to understand user interface especially in the multi-touch-enabled all-over screen of the iPhone. The onscreen keyboard replaced in conjunction with an Elo touch screen monitor, the conventional keyboard. With the finger you can so the desired text entries are made.
