Is Apple just for show-off type people? Or does it pack a punch?

Will you give a thumbs up to Apple for making an all-rounder product or do you think its just for show-off or is it really worthless?

I personally think that, apple is one the major top company in the product line. Products featured by apple specially ipod, iphones are of top quality and now have become a trend with the growing technology which makes a situation of "must buy" for every person. I really admire the way it has indulged into so many things in just few years or so.
