Re: Best font for web text

Well i use the Times New Roman, i have tried few more but i like Times New Roman the most. Its good idea to take the suggestions from multiple web users. Poll is added to this thread. You can suggest more options also.

    Few Good options are:

    • Example of Comic Sans MS.

    • Example of Verdana.

    • Example of Times New Roman.

    • Example of Courier New.

    • Example of Tahoma.

    • Example of Microsoft Sans Serif.

It has to be Times New Roman... Simple, sober and looks great on any web page...

Verdana is best, Although the Verdana font is widely used on the web.

Verdana was designed to be readable at small sizes on a computer screen. The lack of serifs, large x-height (heights of lower-case letters, as scaled to the letter x being exactly equal to one), wide proportions, loose letter-spacing, large counters (spaces inside partially enclosed portions of letters or symbols such as c, s, or curved quotation marks), and emphasized distinctions between similarly-shaped characters are chosen to increase legibility.

For me, Comic Sans MS is the best text font. Any webpage can look stylish and impressive with this. Also, I personally use Comic Sans MS for the documentation and yahoo chatting.
