It has to be Airtel, Airtel is the best GSM service provider in India.
GSM service Provider Vodafone No Doubt Vodafone is best

Vodafone is the worst GSM service provider as well as not as cost effective as comapred to other service providers.
In terms of service I would rank AirTel to be one of the best Service Provider. However their coverage area is not as wide as the other service providers.

BSNL is the best, You will find many of the service providers above use the network of BSNL.
Vodafone have great network in india
Delhi...its Airtel. But, if you're talking about the connectivity while roaming, I've had the best experience with MTNL.
In Mumbai Vodafone is Best... as far as roaming is concerned... BSNL is best....

You wanna know why because it is always having network problems.

There are many GSM network ruling India. About TATA Docomo it has a great coverage with attractive call rates but the network is not good. I am using this for last 6 months but still I am not satisfy with the network. Before that I was using a TATA card which was providing a really good service. Other than this till now Vodaphone is giving good service but a bit costly.

Tata Docomo is best for the call charges but when it comes to the Network that it is having the same issue as all other network is having. The network signal is weak and you will not get the proper signal with the Tata Docomo. Some area is not having even a single network with this card. I preferred to use the Vodafone for Mumbai and other then Mumbai.

Hi readers. I am using both Airtel and Vodafone. I would rate, Airtel is just ok kind of network. But Vodafone is the best.

People who talks about other service provider who offers cheap tarrif, are basically not bothered about services and technology used i believe.

If needed the best, of course you may have to pay more. Even now i get calls from other mobile operators for switching on to their network with less call rates. But I always want to be with Vodafone.

I hardly seen people around me using BSNL, Idea, Aircel, Reliance etc. etc.. But most of them go for Airtel cos they dont think twice bout service and technology. People like me who always think bout technology and service would opt for Vodafone and only Vodafone.

In terms of customer care, BSNL is poor performer. Others are ok. If you want good service and technology, Vodafone is the best.

Yes you are right as i am also the user Vodafone and not getting any issue like other user of different network is getting. Even of you go to the places where all other network is not working, you will get Vodafone working there also. in very short period of time Vodafone acquire the many user. I will suggest to go with the Vodafone.

I will prefer the Vodafone as the great service provider as this is having the highest user other then any other network provider. When it comes to the network coverage then it will provide the coverage in most of the area but other provider having the lack of network coverage. Also plan offer by the vodafone is cheap then any other. My vote goes to vodafone.

i do not think that other than Airtel any other service provider is able to have this capability. Others just do not stand a chance in front of Airtel

Airtel and BSNL is very good GSM service provider in India, what airtel is the best in network and services and also in customer support.

I don’t know that why people are voting less on BPL (loop). I am using the same and I can say you that this never shows me any problem in the network. Other than this there are many exiting offers and tariff plans that make it more useful. I am currently using the DUS KA GANG and that is from last 6 months and it’s very beneficial.

Re: Best GSM Network Service Provider in India

    Hi All

Most of you seem to be saying that Vodafone is the best. I have been having terrible time with Vodafone in the last 6 to 8 months. I have an iPhone 3GS. Almost 40% of the time I keep getting 'No network' or 'Searching' - regardless of whether I am moving, or in one place - also whether I am in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai or Delhi (except recently in Orissa for a couple of days, where it never dropped even once). In the same location, the signal will suddenly drop and come back with full strength in about 10 to 20 minutes. Last month I was overseas in couple of countries for a few weeks, with the same phone and vodafone's International roaming - not problems at all then.

Wondering if anyone else sees anything similar. I am seriously considering MNP just due to this problem - any recommendations most welcome. I have been complaining about this to Vodafone for many monts - they called me hundred times asking the same questions again. They also made me change the SIM once - but nothing changed.

Vodafone is the best mobile service provider in India...a very strong network, is the chief forte of Vodafone. Recently Customer Care has become a little less supportive and they announce and bore you to tedium...but, inspite of everything, Vodafone is India's best GSM operator ...where ever you go their network follows...
