    AMD FX-8350 cooling solutions

I am using AMD FX-8350 processor and have overclocked it above 4.5ghz but after that I am running into temperature problems. I am using a CORSAIR Hydro series H50 cooler for push/pull cooling but it is not able to cool my CPU that much. I was thinking of buying 2 240MM RADS for the cooling purpose and also for the VRMs. Will this be a good choice or should I take something else? Thanks

I will recommend you to go with a Custom Water Cooling solution ot get the chips maximum potential. You will just need to invest as much as in the cooling like you did with the processor. If you cannot spend that much money then you can even get a top of the line air cooler like the Noctua DH-14 or else top end closed loop cooler for approximately 120 dollars. I have even started water cooling recently and overall it took $250 investment from me.

I have recently purchased Antec Kuhler 920 and it is just awesome. I have also replaced the stock fans with Scythe Gentle Typhoons that I purchased on sale along with the fans for a total price of $150. I also wanted to know which Power Supply you are running in your PC currently. But there is no doubt that you will get more potential for water cooling than air cooling only if you are willing to build a custom unit.

Even I am running the same Amd FX-8350 processor with 4.8ghz with a 240mm Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme and have never passed 50 degree Celcius. I am also playing the new game in the same temperature mentioned. When my pc is at idle then it stays as low as 20 degrees celcius. I think that you should buy a better computer chassis to put your hardware in and should not put all those close to the CPU cooler which will also cool down your CPU a bit.
