overclocking Intel Core i5-4670K to 4.5GHz

I am trying to overclock my Intel Core i5-4670K to 4.5ghz and for this I am going to purchase a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO cooler. My main question is will this cooler be enough to cool the processor down? If not then how much temperature can I expect with this liquid cooler? If it will not be normal then which other cooler should I purchase? Thanks

I have also overclocked my intel i5-4670K processor and it is continuously running with VCore at 1.126 with an idle temperature of 30C. When the computer is at full load then the temperature rises to 68C. You can try to use that cooler and check the temp with Real Temp that will give you accurate readings since it is a reliable tool from what I know.

First of I dont see any issues using the Hyper 212 EVO cooler for i5-4670K. But for overclocking to 4.5ghz you might need to lower the VCore that will produce less heat. It will also let you know whether you will be able to overclock higher or not. Like for example if you have set it at 1.25 and if you can get that down to 1.20 with the current clock that you have done, then you set up to that voltage if you are getting a proper stability.

There are many solutions that you can try to get the actual temperature of your processor. You will need to look at the motherboard CPU socket temperature which is usually the hottest part on the mobo. So, these temps are to be calculated in reality because the socket temps are different compared to the actual CPU temperature.
