How far can I overclock Amd FX-8350

I am looking to purchase a new Amd FX-8350 processor and would like to be stressing it to a specific limit. Can anyone tell me whether this processor will be a good upgrade or should I wait for some new processors that will be releasing soon? If its worth to go for the FX-8350, then how much more will I be able to push it after overclocking? Can anyone tell me any stable overclocking with this processor? Thanks

Well, it doesnt seems worthit to change the processor because when I changed from FX 8120 to FX 8320 processors, I didnt see any difference in performance although it looks good on technical aspects but not in real terms. Also, I have tested FX 8120 in lower voltage with the same clocks and it is about the same as FX-8350. There is just some higher ratio that is unlocked anyway, hence it will not be a worth upgrade.

Yeah, even my FX-8120 used to work fine when I was doing some video editting and rendering. When I changed to FX-8350 then it was just giving me 15% faster speed doing the same things. So, going back to the FX-8120 from the FX-8350 will make no sense for the kind of work that I am doing. So, you could definitely either go with any 2 of these processors that you would like.

You can try to hit a 5ghz overclock with Amd FX-8350 if you use water cooling but on air it is not possible to do so. You will need to tweak settings in the BIOS and test until the CPU becomes unstable or the voltages gets to high.
