The Chinese manufacturer Zotac, Nvidia partner on the graphics card market, announces a new model based on the high-powered GeForce GTX Titan arrived earlier this year.
As its name indicates, GeForce Titan GTX AMP! Edition is an overclocked versions of Graphics Card. The GPU frequency have been revised upwards compared to the reference model for more performance. While the original GPU frequencies are 837 (core) and 876 MHz (Turbo mode), they actually reach the 902 and 954 MHz. Same story for the 6 GB of GDDR5 memory working at 6600 MHz instead of 6000 MHz. For the connections, there are two DVI ports and HDMI and DisplayPort sockets.
Announced at $999, this improved version of the GeForce GTX Titan comes with a pack of three video games including Assassin's Creeds, Assassin's Creeds II and Assassin's Creeds: Revelations.
Note in passing that, since the first models delivered in February, prices fell slightly. While they were around 1000 euros at launch, one can indeed find a GeForce GTX Titan base from $999 today.
