Not able to overclock Sapphire Radeon HD6570 above 670 MHz

I have installed Sapphire Radeon HD6570 in my system and it is working quite great. However, for getting better fps I have tried overclocking it but I am not able to overclock it above 670 MHz. I have tried using Afterburner as well as AMD overdrive but no luck. They don’t allow me to pass 670 MHz. As far as I am aware Sapphire Radeon HD6570 can be oveclocked to 840 Mhz without much issues but I am not able to make out what’s wrong in my case.

Have you tried using Sapphire TriXX software?? If not than give that a try and see if it help you to push your card up to 670 MHz. I wanted to add that you won’t be able to change the volatage and you will have to overclock your Sapphire Radeon HD6570 on stock volts.

Yes Sapphire Radeon HD6570 does not support volt tweaking, you won’t be able to do any kind of voltage adjustments using Sapphire TriXX software as well. You will have to flash a new firmware in order to get the voltage adjustments capability. I have found some people who have already tried it out and have overclocked the card at 845 MHz on the core and 1070 MHz on the RAM .

I don’t think there is any point in overclocking Sapphire Radeon HD6570, it’s a low end card and I don’t think it will make much difference if overclocked above stock speed. All you will get is a bit better fps and nothing else.
One of my friends had overclocked Radeon HD6570 840 and the memory clock to 900 and he used to get 10+ fps. I mean in games like battlefield where he was getting 40 fps he started getting 50. Difference of 10 fps might be noticeable but it won’t make much difference while playing the game on higher resolution.
