    Overclocking Corsair CMT6GX3M3A1600C7 Dominator

Currently my PC is running with Corsair CMT6GX3M3A1600C7 modules and I'm extremely happy to have them in my computer, excluding I'm inquiring to recognize if anybody else has owned and overclocked this kit. How faraway were you capable to thrust them and through what settings?

You have to adjust CPU and memory to manual and then readjust the values of the voltage manually. Should reach 1.24 V IOH. I should absolutely reach 1.20 V. 0.10 V is usually more appropriate. QPI voltage is ok. Change as a result of the BCLK clock cycle, you can customize, based on the clock rate divider, but watch out also reduces the CPU multiplier to you or you like the CPU with overclockers

The corsair includes the XMP profile, which for example Permits more easily, e.g. 1600 mhz memory to run (provided that it supports). You have many types of modules. The fastest 1600 MHz modules run on a 7 Cas ... have a separate (included), refrigeration, and are pretty stable. These modules can even over the 1866 MHz, if you still want to overclock. They are fast and stable. In addition, the modules have different profiles XPM. This is useful, because you do not speed (Manual) have to set.

I have another noteworthy overclock since a Romanian overclock called "Matos" has managed to bring the memories DDR3 Corsair Diminator GTX1 to nothing less than 2906 MHz from its default 2400MHz, which represents an entire record in this type of overclocking memory. But that's not all because before this frequency and had left them with no problem at 2666Mhz and cooling only by default, but to get the 2906Mhz used a bit of dry ice (dry-ice). Matos as a good overclocker still not satisfied and expected frequencies continue to rise, we'll see if it comes or goes to 3000MHz, but 2906 MHz is already impressive.

The option is called I believe "DRAM Bus Voltage". Further up you can in "DRAM Frequency" setting 1600MHz. The timing for you "DRAM Timing Control" set manually to 8-8-8-24. (The first four values, the others you are best left as they are. Only the "2nd Information" you should have the option "DRAM Timing Mode" is still on 2N. Incidentally, the timings 8-8-7-21 running at 1600 MHz 1.65Volt 2N stable.

OCZ Reaper HPC and the Corsair Dominator are both very good overclock, but even here there is only one real winner, with the Corsair Dominator 1299MHz. When Imanage not to 1300MHz Orthos and SuperPi to run without errors and crashes.

To test the overclocking and scaling a overclocking, we have tested all the tests with a clock speed of 1766MHz. To the CPU power not to incorporate in the standings, we have lowered the multiplier to the point that we come to the standard clock speed of the CPU. In addition, we reduced the memory to 1800MHz and overclock the timings to 8-8-7-21, which is a very good value.
