I need help here I had clocked to 2.98GHz and no I am facing trouble to start up my pc it’s just won’t boot up . I believe its because on the clocking actually I am totally new in clocking and I don’t know what the term FBS means I just heard it is a ordinary term . I just want to Overclock my E5200 to 3.5 GHz with the stock cooler I would appreciate any help from you guys really needed this to be done as earlier as possible I am using
    • Intel Dual Core E5200 @ 2.98ghz
    • EP43-UD3L
    • 4096MB RAM DDR2 @ 800mhz

Cooler is not going to be sufficient as per my thinking I guess you need the better cooling agent to perform the Overclocking that you need instead you should use COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 Long Life Sleeve 120mm CPU Cooler Compatible Intel Core i5 & Intel Core i7 .

Is CIE/Speedstep off in the BIOS?

Well even I have the same configuration as he does and I get 41 Celsius at the idle and when it on full load like when I play games and all it shows 47 Celsius I have no idea about why it says multiplier 6x and 1441 mhz, on everest it says 3000 mhz and 12.5x

I thing the problem is the memory. If it’s showing on 800MHz then you have to take it to the 956MHz and change the system multiplier to 2.00D, then see how much more you can Overclock it and once you got to the maximum point then can change the 2.00D to another setting that will get the ram frequency to whatever is stable in the 800-900 range hope this work for you

Man I already told you just change the memory setting as I told in my previous post that how you rise the fsb more that how it Overclocked

Oh I am sorry I dint understand it clearly previously that happen when you don’t read the post clearly and make the replay sorry once again and thanks so mach it really helped me much now my temperature at the load is about 54 to 59 Celsius and at the time of idle it shows 41 Celsius and I have read that the temperature should not be going above 60 Celsius so I don’t need to worry about it . I clocked my CPU to 3.5GHz. Thanks again

Always keep in the mind you should never run your system on as hard as stressed program do still I would like to say just try to maintain 70 to 75 Celsius it will be fine not tat less but acceptable so I think you are ok with the temperature just keep the check on it before you make any suicide mistake on your pc

I thought I should share my setting right now I am in the process for solidity I am running in the 3.0GHz at 1.175v which vdroop down 1.15 to 1.13v . I was facing the voltage problem when I got out of control now I am going to try and see how far that I can bring my temperature down and let all you know about it now with 333 FSB and brought down the memory to 800MHz its working nice 100 % stability right now .
