Overclocking Acer Aspire ethos 5943g with HD5850

Recently I have started to serve and GFX overclocking on my laptop. Incredibly I was able to overclock pretty well, but now it’s being limited by the program, slider slid to the fullest. The slider memory clock is stuck there and I tried to Google for a solution but found none. Your advice will be greatly appreciated. ATI Tool and ATI GPU will not work for me.

With the Acer aspire 5850 will GDDR3 memory most ocing so would leave the core alone, find the maximum overclock memory, the back is a little bit and change the bios for the memory clock using Radeon BIOS Editor.

I try 900/1040 and have 7700 points. The evade 625/800 I get 5850 Marks. So now in its place of ATI Mobility 5850 I 7700.

I realized that the balance between the core and clocks membership is important - so if I got to 1080 members - GPU must be less than 900, and vice versa. Overclocking Memory brings improved results at first, but then you can overclock the GPU core. So many game is 800/1050 combo. Works enormous

For genuine gaming you will wish to skew the clocks towards memory as much as probable, for the cause that the chip is so bandwidth starving it's not even humorous. The benchmarks at 1280x1024 might conceal this modest, nevertheless once you get to 1080p.

Acer Aspire 5850 GDDR5 will benefit. So I play gpu upper and lower limbs. Temperature is also lower.

But the trials of being a little over a larger base and asked lam888 I tried 900 main, but where speed is unstable members in 1100. A member has tested and works in 1080 at a lower core (800).

For one final test I maximized brightness and used the classic test in battery eater (heavy load).
    • Pi calculations 653314 Cycles
    • HDD read\write 52394 Mb
    • Resolution 800x600x32
    • FullScreen Disabled
    • Mode Classic
    • Fames Rendered 821653 Frames
    • Benchmark Options

    Results
    Total time 3:25:53
    • Discharge rate (minimum) 4295968582 mWh
    • Discharge rate (maximum) 429458823 mWh
    • Discharge rate (average) 4294855696 mWh

Acer team finished a game that is surprising in many ways the build superiority is enormous, battery life is much enhanced and performance is extremely superior compared to the size and price. Too bad the hot chassis (keyboard area) throughout loading and glossy touchpad are most important deviations, if Acer could address these two troubles and maybe add USB 3.0 ports and a advanced resolution screen - this would be perfect laptop 15 ".
