Because DFI is known for its excellent overclocking motherboards my expectations for this Mainboard already at a very high level. In BIOS template Genie BIOS settings can be found numerous settings to tickle out of the new Athlon Phenom II or II, the last bit of performance out. DFI has been exceeded at this point, more than ever. However, the bios is clearly laid out and even an advanced beginner find their way with a little help.

The BIOS provides the CMOS Reloaded function. In this you can all previously available save a profile for Core i7 processors . Thus one's mind-numbing readjustment to the OverClock settings after a CMOS reset is spared, which is well known, when overclocking the views are frequently carried out.

Motherboards from DFI are very good for the Overclocking capabilities , so i set out my Athlon X2 II 250 to the maximum to elicit performance. With 3.4 GHz i achieved for the built-air cooling a very good result. The cooler this was with two heat pipes.

With Prime 95 i have tested the processor on stability. Which reached a maximum temperature of 52 ° C, Which is still in the green zone. A few links that i am able to achieved maximum HTT , because after all it is with this Athlon II have not subscribed to a Black Edition, in which the multiplier is.
