    Can my computer be overclocked

    hi
    i am having this configuration which i got from my brother but i am lloking to overclock it for best burn out performance can any body tell me is this computer is good for overclocking is this configuration of computer could be overclocked ? thank you


    P5NE asus nforce 650i SLI
    intel core 2 duo E6600
    1gb DDR2
    asus 8800GTS
    Segate 360GB

    YES your configuration can be overclock but Remember that there are rules to follow, but in this field is a matter of experimentation and testing on a case by case basis. In order to limit the problem, always thinking before acting and making big changes in parameters. check here for more

    To answer the question, yes but overclock is risky. But like all extreme sports overclock processor by the advice can limit the risks also overclock of the devices of course makes the warranty void so be careful .Before making the overclocking , I can only advise you to understand the operation of the processor and memory timings, fsb and the principles of increasing voltage.. Overclocking is not an exact science, each material is different, and this requires much patience, regular reboots and risks of drilling something .For better things use overclock utility to overclock your pc.dont go for overclock from bios first.

    fsb unlinked memory clock
    memory fsb ratio: auto
    fsb (QDR): 1800 mhz
    memory (QDR): 800 mhz

    CPU Configuration
    while disabled
    cpu multiplier: 9

    Memory setting
    4-4-4-10
    ldt frequency: x5
