    QX9650 cpu temperature

I am having temperature issue with QX9650. I noticed that it gets hot (about 55C) when in use and 35C at ideal. I tried lowering the voltages but still temperatures are high which reaches to 65C. I am having a good ventilation inside the case then why is this happening? What is a good and stable temperature for QX9650?

According to me it should be about 15 - 20C below the maximum temperature when in idle at the room temperature of about 28C. However as per the Intel, it should not exceed 65C at the maximum usage.

I would suggest fiddle with your fan to a level so that your CPU temperature lowers down to 40C - 50C. It is recommended to keep the temperature below the maximum CPU temperature in order to work fine.

Try using Everest, to what is the actual temperatures. If what you are getting is correct then use some thermal paste to lower the temperatures. What settings are you using on speedfan? Is fan speed controlled in bios? Minimum fan speed keeps temperatures just decent.

The core temps from Everest is the most accurate. There is no mistake made to view the CPU temperature with the help of Everest (you can even use Prime95). On the contrary the BIOS reported CPU temp is depends on the BIOS algorithm which VARIES from one CPU to another. Anyway, your temperatures look totally normal to me.
