hi,
Does someone know the way to reduce the speed of zalman 1700 rpm and a lot of noise next to the noctua. I tried the latest catalyst drivers, ati expertool. Nothing was done.Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.

Normally the CCC with ATI you can regulate the fan speed of your card on motherboard.Try ATITool or RivaTuner.Does someone know the way to reduce the speed of zalman 1700 rpm and a lot of noise next to the noctua. The inclusion of the Zalman VF900 cooler is a great choice, but the fixed fan speed is not. Since the fan is always running at the same speed of around 1700 RPM, it will obviously lower the idle temperatures .
Try Speedfan; it’s a free software program that works with many motherboards and allows you to control fan speed(s) dynamically based on temperature. If your motherboard supports it, then it’s better than buying a hardware solution because of the dynamic control. It gives you much more control than typical BIOS fan control settings which are quite primitive.
One hardware solution is a Zalman FanMate, which allows you to set the voltage to a fan in the range roughly of 12 – 7 V.
