Need BIOS setting to change FSB Ram!

    Hi,
I'm currently looking to overclock my X4 9950 Phenom (with the M3A79-T Deluxe), I've giving it a small boost to 2.8Ghz so far (200*14) but,

I need to change the FSB RAM ratio that it reported in CPU-Z, and I'm not sure what setting I need to change in the bios.
It is currently reporting a 1:2 relationship. I think this is stopping me from clocking higher at the moment because it causes my RAM to clock too high.

    Thanks

Look in your BIOS under Frequency/Voltage Control...

Set Linear Frequency Control to ENABLED...when you do that, you'll be able to adjust the CPU Clock (FSB), DRAM Clock (RAM), AGP Clock, & PCI Clock. For best performance, the CPU & DRAM should be set to the same speed. AGP should be set to 66MHz, PCI to 33MHz.

You'd have to go into the BIOS and change the frequency for your RAM from auto to 533. If you bought a pre-manufactured computer (HP, Dell, etc.), there's a good chance that you can't do this adjustment because they usually lock away a lot of the BIOS setting for the motherboard. However, if you're lucky enough to be able to see this setting (or have a custom built PC), go right ahead and change it. Make sure that you're only changing the RAM frequency.

you need to use the ratio to find a setting where your ram runs at or below its rated speed

with the NB - take it off auto
when you press + on the num pad - it should go onto stock. Can you tell which stock setting is on the top right of the bios.
