    overclocking is failed and the system is restored to the defaults setting.

    I got my new computer up again and then even updated my BIOS, but since I always get when you start the following message:

    Warning! The previous performance of overclocking is failed and the system is restored to the defaults setting.

    The hardware I have, according to EVEREST:

    Before Bios update always download the bios defaults and save (F10?)
    yes that would make not change when the update was already done.
    but:
    after Bios update always download the bios defaults and save.
    and the system is restored to the defaults setting.
    So go into the bios, load defaults, nothing else move, save, reboot.

    yes thank you. Have I done and it seems to go well.

    Can I do the settings not perhaps a little tune, without damaging the components? Is it feasible or determined?

    yes, you can clear up right now or even over clock, etc.
    However, you should employ in order to rest and watch what details you on the web and find multiple threads. A recruitment assistance only for you, over your whole bios you will get from any user.

    I do not even know your boards. But socket 939 overclocking, or so, because you can find instructions on the Web
