    Overclocking fail at startup

I tried to overclock my system, have asus p5ql pro and e5200. Clocked it up from 2.5 to 2.6 as it comes up "overclocking failed". What could this be? Have not had asus mobo before, only MSI .. Do not know if I do something wrong or if it simply not willing to overclock.

Now I came a little longer here, has reached up to 3.0 GHz now. But what was the problem was that I can not run the frame higher than 667mhz ... strange, given that it is the 800mhz.

Make sure that 3 ram sticks are identical - and not at least 2 different manufacturers.
Run with 2 sticks, and try to run up the volts.
