    Overclock with chipset P35/G31

I have a motherboard ASUS P5KPL-AM, a Q6600 processor with the cooled pate ARTIC SILVER 5 Thermal and RAM PC6400 800Mhz. Whether it is safe to overclock to 30% with the motherboard P5KPL-AM?

I have not managed to overclock option by checking the bios "Overclock 30%".
What values as you change to overclock to 3 Ghz? when I enabled bios "Overclock 30%", the computer was not turned on. This means that for 3 Ghz, I have to do everything manually. is it possible that my bios does not block the frequency of PCI Express at 100 MHz and without de synchronizing RAM?

you can not lock the PCIe to 100 mhz?
your motherboard come from a branded PC or not?
you can not desynchronizing the ram?
    your bios is not restrained?

overclock to 3 GHz, I stuck on the 100 PCIe, I desynchronizing 2.66 on my ram instead of 4 and I increased the FSB to 300 mhz
