GeForce 8800 gts 512 overclocking

Has anybody recently overclocked GeForce 8800 gts on stock cooling?. Any help would be appreciated

You should read all of the guides thoroughly, it is evident you haven't yet. Water cooling is not something to take lightly. Mess up and you could cook your rig.

I'd rather the stock cooling as it vents outside the case. get the thermalright hr 03 plus if you can. It is better than stock cooling and this zalman cooler too.

By all means, a 8800 GTS or GTX at stock should play almost all games at mid-high settings without a glich. Even my 7950GT 512mb is keeping up a good job with current games like lost world or C&C...etc at HIGH settings and 1680x1050 but it's not GREAT but definetely playable
