How do you think you can possibly get 12v out of the computer?
Or? Please explain.![]()
How many tests and / or watts they draw?
Need 12v to each device... is this possible?
Take the yellow and black from a 4Pin molex and you have 12v.
Are you looking for power supplies that are something kind of this http://www.powerstream.com/DC-PC-12V.htm
Or I think I am confused what you want.
I think what the OP wants is exactly what was stated -- they have some AC adapters providing 12 volts to some devices and they want to get rid of the adapters.
My suggestion would be to drill holes in the computer case and mount some female mini phone jacks in those holes. To the inside connectors, connect wires and inline fuses, which then go to a male 4 pin Molex which just has black and yellow connected. Power is then provided by plugging the device into the female mini phone jack. Patch cables from the AC jacks to the devices would have to be made as well.
In lieu of drilling holes in the case, drill holes through one of the PCI slot blanks in the back of the case and mount the jacks there.
