Overclock of Intel Core 2 Duo E7200

I asked one if it were possible to overclock my E7200 little and got this reply

"E7200 has an FSB of 266Mhz, so there is possibility for a little overclock with PC5300 ram.

Provides you to run your ram 1:1, so you should well be able to raise FSB to 333Mhz (333 * 9.5 = 3160Mhz). For as little more than a clock would be no need to tamper with vcore"

But what should I ask at 333Mhz in Bios, I will probably make two points at 333Mhz to run 1:1 not??

    My Setup:
    Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 2.53 Mhz
    Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
    Asus P5Q PRO
    Kingston PC5300, 2048 MB
    Asus 7900GS PCI-e
    Samsung Spin Point 320GB

It must have something more vcore
Just select dram freq and put it to the minimum. I think that should benefit.

I would also say yes. That is at least on my Gigabyte X38 DS4 motherboard.

But you will not throw up a 333 in the first place. Increase the FSB with 5-10 at a time and see what happens.

Can it suddenly does not boot at all or not boot Windows, then throw a little more Vcore on. So it should probably go if your RAM might follow.

I put the DRAM and FSB to 677Mhz to 333Mhz and got it up to 3.18 Ghz and run fine.
    Thank you for the suggestions

That is fine. Take just one example Prime98 tests, etc. and / or run some demanding games.

I overclocked my E8500 at 4.0 GHz and it ran fine idle and load, but once a course such as CoD4 or ending a race was won in NFS: undercover, itwould crash. So when the CPU went down in revolutions that did not happen.
