    Overclocking E6850 on P5E

    Hello to you,
I have a lot of difficulties in correctly Overclocking my E6850 on my P5E. I find it hard to apply different tricks to me. Indeed I managed to climb to 3.75 Ghz quite easily however OCCT detects an unstable after a few minutes.

I would like to know if you could help me configure my Bios properly in order to have a stable OC with a frequency> 3.6GHz. Basically, what value in the FSB? What coefficient value of the train? Timing? voltage .

    My configuration:
    C2Duo E6850
    Asus P5E
    2*1 gb PC6400 PK ( 800MhZ) 2 512 mb PC6400 PK ( 800MhZ) (all in Dual Channel) GSkill
BIOS 0702 (last update I think for the card)

    Thank you to you

Give your settings to 3.75 GHz (values of tension in the bios screens + CPU-Z for CPU and memory) to see where you're practically And also to say what time are the cores in full charge. Pretends the values given by Core Temp.

    Re: Overclocking E6850 on P5E

Well I managed to have an OC stable at 3.6 Ghz on my E6850, which is 20% more.To achieve this here are my BIOS settings:

    CPU Ratio Setting: 9
    Frequency FSB: 400
    FSB strap: 333 MHz
    PCEI Frequency: 101
    DRAM Frequency: DDR2 801 MhZ
    Timing: 5 / 5 / 5 / 15

    VCore: 1.42500
    CPU PLL: 1.50
    FSB term Voltage: 1.40
    DRAM Voltage: 1.96

I do not know if my settings are wrong but it works

I also wanted to know if with a Timing of 4/4/4/12 and DRAM voltage 1.98 knowing that the P5E Adds +0.25 v . There would no problem for my Ram

It lacks the tension of at least Northbridge ...
A 1425V, you do not get over 400 FSB ? What happens in CPU SMT? And for the time, No worries for the RAM, but both look to the max FSB sync, leaves 5-5-5-15.
