    3DMark help require

    hi ,
    i got my new desktop computer Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 month back .I am interesting to know about 3DMark. Why it is use and install. Using 3DMark dose over clock can be done ??Dose using this is harmful to computer? please any one can help me ??

    just reading your question i feel you are very excite regarding to your pc .
    it seem like you have no any idea about overclocking .well what ever you do have some knowledge first then try other wise you will bang you new pc.
    well 3DMARK is not harmful for your computer it is computer tool use to determine the performance of a computer's graphic rendering capability.
    sometimes its fun to see score in it .
    The measurement unit 3DMark is intended to give approximation for comparing different graphics processing units, which useful for gamers and overclocking enthusiasts identify performance capabilities .

    its small fun you can try it download it .just simple installation .
    after running test at the end you will find
    -3dmark-score
    - 3dmark-institutions
    - GPU-Z
    - CPU-Z CPU and MEM tab
    after you got score take Screenshot and post that here with the following details:

    3dmark score:
    CPU:
    CPU speeds:
    RAM speeds:
    Motherboard:
    Video:

    CPU: Q6600 CPU: Q6600
    CPU speeds: "2.660Ghz" @ "3.825Ghz"
    RAM: 2gb
    RAM speeds: "425" @ "5-5-5-15"
    Motherboard: Asus P5Q-E
    Video: CLUB3D 9800X2
