Choice of hardware for an overclock

I hope I have called the debate in the most appropriate

What you recommended to be able to make your PC "single" and also provide technical Overclock

I for now I have the hardware available to the following list,

    RAM: DDR400 1gig kingston 2 sticks (transfer PC3200)
    CPU: 3.0 prescott p4
AGP VIDEO CARD: nvidea GeForce4 4000
CPU: Intel (original p4 with thermostatically controlled fan)
    Motherboard: Asus p4r800-v deluxe
POWER SUPPLY: 380watt ... definitely not poor (damaged by voltage Force, because it cannot handle the nominal power keeping the tension 2.75 + / -0.1 to 3.3 11.58 + / -0.05 at 12 )

Now from this point perhaps a trick considering what can I do?

    Abit IC7 MAX3.
Even ASUS P4P800 or P4C800 respectively with I865PE and I875P as Chipset. Generally choose Intel chipsets.

You know, the P4C800 mounts 875P; the other 865PE which also the PAT, MAM (Memory Acceleration Mode).
Both are suited to your Prescott MotherBoard without changing CPU and RAM.
The Socket 478, if well exploited, can still secure performance worthy of the name... Guaranteed
