Hello,
I have a message "CPU fan error" when starting the PC. This message is not blocked by pressing F1, I can continue. But when the PC is started I note with Asus Probe 2, the temperature is 92 ° C which seems a lot.The temperature of 92 ° is stable it will hardly move.
The fan speed is around 2812 RPM, and it does not move much either. The fan is running well, I checked The CPU usage does not exceed 10%.
I cleaned the sink which was filled with dust and the fan. Despite the cleanup, the message continues to appear.
Rest of the configuration:
Asus P5B
Physical Processor / 2 Cores / 2 Logical Processors / 64 bits
Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 CPU 6400@2.13GHz
My question is: 92 ° C is it too much? What can prevent the temperature decrease?
Thank you for your help
