    Q9450 problems

Have a Q9450 and as I researched have stable in 400x8, I flashed maximus to the Rampage today. I set the voltage on cpu to 1.3v. I know that this should be sufficient for it, on my bios. I'm running prime in 4 hours and thinking groan it appears to be stable, close down the prime type and 10 seconds later reboot without the burden?

Testing to change a little Volt raises NB to 1.5V set VTT to 1.3v and testing to change the straps to 333 MHz and the computer does not even boot into windows. Testing the same settings as I drove before but with a little higher nb and straps at 400 MHz as before. Now cant even boot up the computer at all. Has now skim XS but seems to find some settings that work so original rolls on the good any time. someone who has an idea?

    Re: Q9450 problems

I had the same trouble with...though I drove the 1004 bios.
Updated to 1201 and it was a little better, though far from what I had wanted, so I sold it. Keeps me to the duo with the board again. In anticipation of better bios / stepping.
