Overclocking in Vista

Has bought some new stuff and thought get some of the graphics card but each grinding halt at once. Can not tear up a Turner without getting up mass error messages and atitool does not. Vista is so "safe" so there are all those programs that obstruct my progrm. So what do you do if you want to have video card in vista?

Start by writing what you have graphics cards. I myself have ATI and have no problems at all to watch with CCC in Vista 64bit.

I run both tear tuner and ccc in vista 32-bit without problems.

As asked before, what is your video card? A Voodoo1 associated with the Matrox card is not so easy to clock in vista. Otherwise, ATI works well with the CCC from 8.10 drifting ice.

I have a 8800gt. I've tried closing by the UAC but tear tune does not yet. Atitool on the kernel could not be restarted.
