    Making a stable overclocking

First, the worst case: the PC does not start at all! In this case, we must put a lower frequency.

If access bios is impossible , reset the settings by removing the battery plate (open the PC, remove the battery two minutes and give away). If the PC starts, but not Windows, same thing.

If you do that Bugs minors or a bug in it here, see the different methods below to make your overclocking more stable.

CPU cooling allows for a greater chance of successful overclocking.

    Many solutions exist:

The problems of overheating have a very important because they cause blocking see the computer destruction of the processor. To avoid this, you need a good ATX case with a good fan. I advise you to add one or two drops thermal paste between the processor and fan. You can even add a radiator, metal with a particular form that enhances heat dissipation. The performance of the fan or the cooling system depends on its size and diameter.

The thermal paste: the area between the fan and the processor is not perfectly flat, the thermal paste is a thermo-conductive paste that will fill the vacuum and evacuate microscopic heat to the fan.

A good solution is to buy fans for processors that heat more than yours, to DIY (super glue sticks) and adapt the new fan for your processor.

For good ventilation, it is also a good case.

The assembly ground, hard disks and create an obstacle to aeration. If your camera allows, do not hesitate to install a second fan in the case by more than one processor. The hard disk and CD player or other will only more stable and last longer.

    The cooling liquid:

It is really expensive but effective. This is a closed loop circulating liquid cooling the processor. This method prevents the processor to generate heat.
Il existe 3 types de refroidissement liquide : There are 3 types of liquid cooling:

    • The cooling water: the idea is almost the same as for cars. Indeed, the passage of water above the processor can maintain the low temperature.

    • The Freon cooling: it is a derivative of chlorine dioxide or methane or ethane. Its capabilities exceed those of cooling water.

    • Cooling-based liquid nitrogen liquid nitrogen is a very cold liquid (it end at -196 ° C). Caught in a closed circuit, it offers an optimal cooling.

The cooling liquid is advising fans to really overclocking. Installing a system like this is very complex and must be performed by a professional.

The refrigerated boxes: There are boxes refrigerated cooling components all at once. This solution is effective but I advise the heat produced components not causing condensation on them. This fog then turns into water that can destroy your components. I think the best solution is the thermal paste with a good radiator and a fan, or the cooling water, but only on the processor, with a fan for the hard disk and graphics card.

    Re: Making a stable overclocking

Some programs claim to reduce the temperature of your processor. Scam or not?

Software, such as Rain, you can lower the temperature of your processor. How it is possible there?

In fact, these programs put on standby some instructions the processor when it does not work or little. The processor works less therefore heats less. However, if you work the processor to its maximum, these programs will be ineffective. They do not buy a fan, because the drop in temperature they promise is that only a few degrees, and depends on the use of your computer at the same time. But they do not eat bread, and you can download Rain 2.

You still have bugs, despite all the solutions above?

Then go into the bios to increase the voltage of the processor. With a little help shoot does not hurt, (in steps of 0.1 volt, otherwise you risk the grill, if you do not have adequate cooling system). Reboot and see the changes.

You have successfully overclock your PC, with different ways of cooling and nothing seems to happen, and your PC does not Bugged more than usual?

Then download a program like CPU burner B 0.2 allowing you to test your CPU up these opportunities. Turn this software for at least 15 minutes, even 25 minutes is better. If there is no crash, then all is well. Otherwise, see one of the solutions proposed in this page. CPU burner is a stress- test for the processor. There is a possibility to choice the priority level , start, suspend and quit the test .
