Overclock My Core 2 Duo Please!

    Hello,
I am trying to overclock my E7200 processor. I have heard that with the combination of motherboard, ram, and cpu i should be able to get a good overclock.
I am wanting to get around a total of 3Ghz OC. What is the best way to do this?
    I am using an ASUS P5QL Pro Board with G.SKILL 2 x 1GB RAM DDR2 PC2-6400 (800Mhz) (4-4-4-12). The default multiplier/fsb is at 9.5 x 266 on this chip I have which makes it 2.53Ghz.
What I tryed so far was setting the FSB in the BIOS to 333 but then I got no post so I had to reset the cmos. How can I start trying OC's without having to worry about this same problem occuring. Thanks for any help!

Overclock My Core 2 Duo Please!

    Hi
According to your configuration 3ghz should be no problem at all. All you need to do is set the memory speed to the lowest available setting since auto setting will run it on a ratio which is probably pushing your ram too high when you up'd the fsb.
