    New mod, setup problems

    Hi.

Okay, I hereby put many points on which can help me to get my system running as it should.

I have the following setup now:

    Core 2 duo 3 GHz.
    4 gb OCZ dual channel PC2 8500.
    Windows XP.
    24" Samsung sync master.
2x GeForce 8800 SLI GTx (a BFG is otherwise ASUS, but they are running in sli as they should).
75 gb Raptor 10,000 rpm, Windows drive.
Maxtor 750 GB HDD, DIV. drive.

I CAN NOT JUST GET TO THE ROAD AS IT SHOULD BE! According. CPU-Z running:

    3450.1 MHz CPU
    Multiplier x9
    Bus speed 383.4 Mhz
    Rated 1533.4 MHz FSB
    Core voltage 1216 V

    Memory DDR2 4096 MBytes
DRAM Frequency 460 MHz - Should be 1000 + Mhz
    FSB: DRAM 5:6
    Timings: 5.6.6.18 - Should running 5.4.4.

I have a couple other ram PC2 8000 2x1GB OCZ RAM to run low timings, but could not get it to work so bought new but they are still low in Mhz

Firstly, graphics card should absolutely without question, be the same brand, speed and chip as No 2 cards in a SLI configuration! that you have been able to get the two to work together for a Guinness record in my world!

What you can try to do is to Vcore up slightly .. by the first rare error, set it back down a step.

Same with RAM, up to Volt you can run the CAS / RAS blah blah as you would with Overclock and you can see it running stable.

In rare case had to go into the BIOS and set it manually 100%

I have no idea what normal OC limit is on the things you have (I would however like to know) but everything is, the more OC, give it more Volt to it works!

It is good enough any year since I overclocked my gear last .. but the theory has never changed as much as 0.1% as I am aware of.

I can not say exactly what to do when you do not just write what motherboard you have (essential to know when it is all a foundation for your PC is running and can OC'es)

Hope what I have said now be useful, and if you want something specific you just tell us exactly what you have (model names, what the companies themselves write the max etc .. everything).

You do not even throw the links or something we can all easily find manuals and what not without a problem as long as you write what things are specifically.

Thanks for the guidance, but just to note that this may not be the same graphic problem, just the same chip so what it is I have slowly given up to get it to run 100% best, do not have much time just now, so when I get free time, will again go to the bottom of it.
