    E8500 temps

Hello I have just seen temperatures on my cpu (no more than clock) which is an E8500 with the standard intel box fan. And it is 50-60 degrees at idle, is it normal?

Just one more thing when I look at CPU-Z, I can see that it constantly changes from 2 GHz to 3.16 GHz and volts also changing all the time. How is it?

Have just noticed that each time it is going to work so that it rises to the normal 3.16 GHz and when it does not do anything, its 2 GHz. I'd like it to run continuously at 3.16 GHz.

The crashes at 2Ghz is to save power, there is no reason to change it.

You get nothing out of the running full speed all the time besides a bigger electricity bills and more heat in the cabinet.

CPU and GPU screws themselves up to speed when it is needed. You will not be able to feel a difference if they run full speed all the time.

Is it just good of all the time to move up and down? Every time I just press a second or so spent the CPU 10% and then increasing it to 3.16 GHz after which it falls and then hit me again and so increases...

Is it something that is good?

It has more of it than running at full steam all the time. It is designed for it, so we must of course assume that it can sustain it. And it can indeed.
