Unless I downloaded ati tool to try to give this a little gas but allows me not (ati tool) to save the changes made because it says that not supported by card ??? How can I possibly halt that parameters pumping without creating serious problems to the card?

Download "AMD GPU Clock Tool" and use that. It will be of great use for this purpose
